Rubber Plant

This is a beginner 6" Ficus elastica 'Burgundy' plant, commonly known as the burgundy rubber tree plant. 

It is native to India and Southeast Asia.

The plant is known for its deep, glossy, almost black leaves.

New leaves often emerge with a reddish tint before maturing to the dark color. 

It is a popular and relatively easy-to-care-for houseplant that thrives in bright, indirect light.
